Getting back to a routine for school and work can be an adjustment after time off. When summer hits we all want to take a break and get away. Before we know it we are back to the grind with some dismay. Let Academy of Aerial Fitness get you back to a more fun routine. We offer weekly classes in pole, silks, lyra and hammock for all levels. Take this opportunity to try something new in any of the apparatuses. Weekly open gyms are offered throughout the week. Open gym is a great time for conditioning training, practicing new skills learned in class or revisiting skills long been forgotten. Pole Heels 101 Workshop
Instructor: Viv Harbin
Friday, Aug. 18th 6-8PM
Want to feel as graceful as gazelle and less like a wobbly giraffe when wearing heels in pole practices. This fantastic workshop will focus on basic heel technique, straighter lines, strength, condition, and flexibility of the ankles, legs and core. Get safety tips for falls and the wobbles. Know the importance of heel anatomy and how various parts of the heel can be used to facilitate smooth and flowy movements. Learn a short choreo to put together these skills and techniques, connecting movements and flowing through weight changes.

Join us August 26 and 27 for a special weekend training intensive with guest trainer Jonny Boie! Direct from Las Vegas, Jonny is an international competitor, and high-level pole instructor with formal training in yoga and contortion.
